Hmmm, from what I understood the R-D racing kit is not permanent and the car can be returned to stock easily. True or not?
FELNGR8, thanks for posting those pics U da man! As far as getting everything in time....I can try to see if they'll overnight everything...gotta be sure of what I'm ordering first, though. Help?
one of these - C4/C5 Lap Belt mounting kit. (one kit for 2 seats) $40.00
two of these (in order to attach the 5th point on BOTH seats, as well as mount the fire ext. to the pass. side?) - C4/C5 Extinguisher/Center Strap mount.(1-seat) $40.00
two sets of belts, latch looks way cheaper, guess I need to decide...
Plus hope that it is all in stock.
Need to get a Halon ext....ugh, this never ends!
You can always remove the seats again to take out the RD racing belts... My setup you don't have to... That is why I said it was permanent.
Nope, he really wanted to do some drilling from what I understood. Your set-up is the way I want to go, however
Rob, provided I can get all the right parts , think this is doable?
Drilling the frame??? nope.. never said that. With my setup I had to cut part of the plastic molding that goes around the seat. You don't see the plastic...

should be doable...
Hmmm...could have sworn you said that. Oh well, doesn't matter now, seems doable for you without modification. My concern is not cutting into anything, you seemed pretty certain you would have had to do some significant cutting.
You need the lap belt kit and two of the C4 fire extinguisher center straps. You use them to mount the 5th belt with or without fire extinguishers. Fire extinguisher kit
You need two sets of 5 point cam-lock G-Force belts in black. Hopefully he has them in stock. Definitely give him a call to be comfortable that you are getting all you need, and that he can ship it right away.
I edited my post right before this one of yours with the same list ... looks like everything on my list matches up to yours...just need to make sure I can get everyhting in time, otherwise, it'll hafta be for the next event...
Chuck and Rob...continued 'thank yous' to both of you...you seriously rock.

Mopar guys don't like to get beat by girls. I told Lilred a story about my friend Paula beating a 440 Charger in my Camaro way back when at Budd's Creek. I showed Paula how to leave the line easy in 2nd gear with a couple short launches in the pit lane. Then I got out and jumped over the fence to the pits. It was obvious she had never driven the car. Paula beat that Charger and the guy never ran again that day.

Mojo is still a big fan of Mopars.
Good Lord Why do guys get all pizzy about girls beating them? Why can't it just be about the drivers, regardless of male/female? I guess this is the eternal question to me!
I look forward to another drag event when I can "win" some passes down the 1/4 mile...nothing beats that feeling
PS-Chuck-that *was* a story
