I think i'm making max power with john's tune. I've been told he likes to tune on the rich side. Not sure if another tuner can make more power. I guess 407rwhp is enough for now. I made 13more rwhp with the new exhaust.
The @#$@#@!#$%! didn't show again. Then another contractor called me today asking if he could come by at 3:30pm. He said he would leave a quote under the front door mat. Of course he didn't show. What in the $@#$!@#$ @#$@#$ @#$@#$ is up with these people? Do they all have so much damn work that they come and go as they please. What a pain in the @#$@#$@#$@#$
Whew - sounds like you had a long weekend!
We got in at 4a.m today and emptied the truck out - hit the pillows by 5
I was dead tired (still am) but I suppose that sleep is over rated anyways...
re: your driveway - my Father-in-law has a neighbor who does concrete work - he was happy with his driveway...
Ask for the contact info if you are at wits end Guy did fine for him...
Enjoy your week - worst case scenerio, your Corvette will still be at john's shop for the Dyno day in July
p.s. Nice picture on p/ 17 of Corvette Enthusiast of your car leading the pack
Good deal Rob - the extra power may come in handy...
I picked up the car yesturday. runs a lot better. max power is still 407.
The car still hunts for the idle sometimes. John said it's hard to tune/set the idle with the large cam I have using LT1edit/LS1 edit. The new tuning setup he is buying will fix the issue. Should be ready to go in a few months.
