What to do in Hampton,Va?

Welcome to our area
Wish I was going to be here, but I am leaving early in the week for CI VII
There are plenty of active Forum members in the area, perhaps if you posted and idea of when you are arriving and when you are leaving, we could hook up
There's some great areas to visit, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Jamestown and you could ride along the Colonial Parkway, catch the free ferry at Jamestown for a ride across the James River
Lots of things over in Virginia Beach as well..depends on what you like to do
Post more here about your plans

Arriving on Sunday will make it difficult to hook up...I know I will be spending that weekend getting ready for Cruise In
Yes, There is a lot of history in the area, including Fort Monroe where you will be
I still suggest you do the Colonial Parkway/ferry thing
From Fort Monroe, head west on I 64 toward Richmond, Take Mercury Blvd Exit south to Smithfield, cross James river bridge and follow signs to route 10 west
Once in Surry, look for signs to Scotland Ferry
Take the Ferry across the James River..look for signs to Colonial Parkwy toward Yorktown
Get off the Parkway at Williamsburg and drive around there
Get back on the Parkway toward Yorktown and once there, drive around, stop and enjoy the sights
Take Route 17 South from Yorktown toward Newport News, get on I 64 east back to Fort Monroe
Get maps of the area and check it out
sorry I will be tied up
have fun
Jack

I use calenders for lots of things..I set my drinks on them...write phone numbers on them...cover up holes in the wall with them!
Is there something else I should do?
