I'm only a do it yourselfer for minor things. This is not somthing I could tackle.
What clutch should I use? Spec , Centerforce, 06 Z06 ?
I've been running a Spec for quite some time with great results. I believe mike likes to install the RPS, in some of the higher HP cars. However i would stay away from the stock style clutches. The zo6 clutch will still have the same downfalls as a stock clutch, even if it can handle slightly more power.
A heads cam is pretty easy and straight forward.
However, just have a chat with him about your performance goals and what not, if he's going to do the work. Mike is VERY conservative when it comes to cam selection and such. So, keep that in mind when getting reccomendations from him.

In Maitland, right next to Rogers Corvette Center and Tim Burke's body shop. They are awesome guys up there that do great work. I recommend them highly over anyone else. http://www.corvettemasters.com
Thanks. I'll check out corvette masters. Whats a ball park figure for heads, cam, install and tune. Like to get an idea before these guys start firing off prices at me so I know if I getting a fair deal or not. I'm going to round up some of the other parts like DTE brace, hardened output shafts, clutch etc and have it all done at once.

its going to run you around the same no matter which shop you decide. robby over at corvette masters will def. cut you a good deal. price shop, and let him know what you find. im sure he would be glad to match the price of another reputable shop. tell him brian from orlando sent you. they have great turnaround time also... something you probably wont find with the other local shops.
I know Corvette Masters and Mike Norris...
(Tim Burke next to Corvette Masters uses Mike Norris...)
...as for clutch...I have RPS no chatter and not a heavy clutch pedal!
Mike is conservative...but can be as aggressive as you desire!
The cam in StuzVette is not too hot ...but then I was wearing a suit when I ask for a cam
Mike has a very professional staff...
In fact I have a choice and will be going back for a few changes and a new dyno tune in the near future
I have a LOT of confidence in Mike Norris (Next Level Performance)...

Stu,
Is it called Next Level Performance now. I noticed the link for Norris Motorsports doesn't work. Do they have a new web address?
Thanks.
BTW I've seen your Vette cruising around Oviedo Sweet Ride.
Most folks know I will not rave about my own shop or myself. I pretty much let the clients do the talking whether it is good or bad. I always appreciate the kind words for sure. The new web address is:
I had talked to Troy about making the link change and have sent a PM to savewave to make the necessary changes. I am also working on a new banner. Well not me personally. The site is also far from finished, but the basic info is there and we prefer to consult with each clients about their specific needs.
As far as losing one of my "best tech's", I can only say he is a good kid and here the longest, but by far the least experienced and has an opportunity to learn quite a bit as long as the ego does not get in the way. Love him like a son. With the current staff we have approx 60-70 years automotive experience both traditional and hot rod. Out of that there is about 50 years of GM and Corvette only experience and working with the C5 and now C6 since their inception.
Anyhow, give us a call and we will see what we can do for you. We never claim to be the cheapest and rarely will drop to price matching. But we are hardly the highest priced when we do our cold call sessions. Most of our clients understand why and we appreciate their "advertising" more then anything.
