Talk about going to school. I keep telling you ALL Corvettes are red, the rest are just mistakes! You're a Moderator and you don't know this?

I would but I'm only comming out with about $2200 when all is said and done. I will be adding a C5 eventually (wife wants a yellow one)

This is exactly what I'm doing. I also plan on upgrading a couple things (exahust, cats, new paint)

I should have everything to fix it if you want to give me a calls on Monday.

Will keep you in mind when shopping for replacement parts.

Found out the salvage on the title only counts untill the car is repaired to the insurance companys liking or if I was to sell/scrap the car (neither of which I plan on doing).

Thanks and will keep you informed.

Yeah, but how much would you have if you DON'T buy back the old car?

How much is the total of that plus what are you going to spend fixing and modifying the C4?

I bet your most, if not all of the way to a nice older C5 already.

Note: I'm not argueing for that, I just wanted to point out that it really is a valid option.

Buy back was $1600. That would give me $3800 as a down payment.

Repairs should cost no more than $5000. Thats $2800 out of pocket.
