{VA} Need advice quick

What are my options from here????? Someone told me I can buy the car back and get it fixed on my own but would that make it a salvage? I don't want to let this car go. Please I need some help

Post/send me some pics of the damage & I can give you my opinion.

Jester, that sucks, but maybe you can buy back for a great price. Good luck.

That moving air you are hearing is the sound of me NOT holding my breath. But Good Luck. Maybe you've got some Karma stored up somewhere....

Still trying to find out what is going to happen to the title. I really don't want SALVAGE stamped across it.
Bernie,
Those rims/tires are looking good right now.
Will keep y'all informed on progress.
Think positive,
Tim
P.S. Anyone know a good fiberglass repair shop?

Now that I hear what all got dammaged, I had a crazy thought come to mind:
Since almost everything you mentioned is a part that VBP sells aftermarket replacement for... Talk to Greg and see if he can hook you up with the people to get you sponsored by them.
Maybe you can work it to get the parts for free if you build it into a track car.
Then even the salvage on the title wouldn't matter.
- Just a thought.

Estamate says over 10k in damage. I have a maechanic I trust to do the work. Should cost about 1/2 that.
Sorry Fozzy not going to turn it into a track car. Debi said she'd string me up if I did.
P.S. One piece of good news out of all this......There will be a new Rat Pack member due to join us March 26th.

Glad you bought it back... I was a GEICO adjuster for over 2 years. Since you've "got a guy" you can get it fixed for a good deal.
However, the insurance company has to make the car 100% perfect and pay body shop labor rates. This means if say a subrame is bent a little and you're ok w/ that the insurance co. still has to pay to replace it... just an example of why their estimate is higher and why the car got totalled.
Like mentioned... the title won't get branded b/c you never gave it up etc.
