Jack et al,

I wish I could have made it as well. My '75 needed a little attention (mechanical, maintenance) this weekend but I hope everything is ok now. I plan to make it to the Skyline Drive cruise and would love to cruise up there with all of you.

By the way... Any locals know anything about tuning a Holley carb?

Jim, Linda

Yes it was fun, but it was also an opportunity to rebuild the spirit

Jim, as great a Cruise Director as you are and as much as you have accomplished...can you arrange for the skyline cruise to drive right into the beginning of a parade? :D

We came tooling through the very little town of Whitestone which was apparently just getting ready to stage some sort of a parade...fire engines, beauty queen in a vette, etc.

We continued past the staging area toward the main drag and all these people were standing curbside waiting for the parade. As we approached people began smiling and waving.

I wish we had a camera to catch their expressions when they realized we weren't the parade and sheepishly lowered their hands.

We will be at Skyline, I expect a group of us will caravan up from here as we did last spring I'll start suggesting it in about two weeks

Did you and Linda go to FUNFEST?

Best regards

:seeya Jack
