Hello all... I am curious as how one comes to join this Elite Group. I have to be honest, with the sheer amount of knowldege I have been reading in these posts; it seems that collectively you have forgotten more about Corvettes, then what I know about them... I can admit that I am “mechanically challenged” so in the words of Bill Murray from Stripes … I AM WILLING TO LEARN...

Anyway, I know I missed this meeting, but I know my wife and I would like to tag along on any of the upcoming "events" if noobies are allowed. I was blessed enough to have a wife that allowed me to get a C6 in Oct. We live in the Chantilly/Aldie area of NOVA and have been looking to meet and greet other Covette owners, and this group seems like "MY" kind of people... Is there an email list or do ya'll use the forum to communicate?

Thanks in advance...

Kevin

Just join in when an event you're interested comes along...not an elite group, just a bunch of CFSE members having a good time.

No email list, just look for the -=-=-= NoVa Month Event =-=-=- threads and post there. Hope to see you at an event soon

Thanks for the heads up... I didnt mean to imply anything negative with the "Elite Group" comment... I certainly hope it did not come across that way... I look forward to the next meeting and will keep an eyeout.

Thanks again

There is definitely hazing involved. However, you can get around that by springing for dinner at the next function. If you haven't guessed already, we like to eat. A lot.

valdeztke - Sorry, can't help. The place I used to go to had a car crash into it and burned down (kind of ironic).

I know all about hazing - spent five years in a fraternity.

I can paddle with the best of 'em!

From what I can see with this group the dinner tab might put me in the poor house! However you can rest assured there will be some "adult beverages" provided...

Ask Rob about the place he took the Grand Sport to. If that thing can pass emissions I want to take my car there also.

Doesn't VA just do OBD testing now? I imagine that as long as you're not throwing any codes, you'll be fine. My car passed with LTs and no rear O2s.
