Thoughts and / or suggestion for what to do in the month of Feb.?

Either Thurs Feb.1 or the following week on Feb.8

It was suggested by someone who attended the BBQ the other week, that we do "Malibu Grill" @ 7100 & Fair Lakes again - we haven't been there in about a year, maybe longer

Thoughts Suggestions

Chris,

If we can't get people together for the Malibu Grill how about an IHOP midnight run on Friday 2 or 9 Feb? Been about a year since that type of thing - of course the "old" people won't be able to make it for the IHOP event.

I'd be possibly up for an IHOP run, but that is getting a bit late for me

No go on Wed. nights for me, sorry. Tuesdays are also out, most of the time...

Wasn't me who suggested Malibu Grill however, there ALWAYS seems to be a decent turnout there for the grill

IHOP would have to be a friday or saturday night thing. I get up way to early to go out at midnight.

As for MG... I'm in. which day? Make sure to call ahead. They don't like it when we show up without calling ahead.

Well, I'm certainly not hopelessly addicted to IHOP. Let me know where/when the event is being held and I will be there.

Sometimes we do. Perhaps if we know when you're coming up, we can plan something? Any idea when you're due up here next? I'm sure a dinner out over the weekend is doable for most...

Conversely, when the nice weather hits, I wouldn't mind a NoVa group invasion to the OBX for an event

I live in Va Beach but take my Jeep down to OBX a lot during the summer, thats where I get the name OBXFUNN (Plus its the plates on the Jeep). But come on down to Va Beach, we always have something going on.

Not sure when I will be up in NOVA again but when I know I will post up. I will only have the car for a few weeks before it goes under the wrench again.

D'oh...I saw your login name but didn't bother to look down and see the words "Va Beach"

Do let us know when you come up next, I'm sure we can all work something out.

I haven't been to Va Beach since I was 5, so it sounds like it would be a good roadtrip for me and all others interested.

If you haven’t gone to Virginia Beach in a long time, you need to go! It looks like they have a very active Corvette community, the beach is great, they have great restaurants, and plenty of non-beach activities.

Years ago (80’s) I use to go to Virginia Beach to get into trouble (and there was plenty of that to be had); the good folks in Virginia Beach have really cleaned up the area and it is very safe and family friendly.

Yeah, I think the Vette people around here are great. Everyone is willing to help at the drop of a hat. I also belong to a Jeep group and its the same way with them, must be the area.
