new header install
just finished the installation of brand new set of headers
after some research and informative phone calls to a number of header companies
i went with the Tri-Y design of Stans Headers
they are a custom header for your specific application
i had them installed in less then two hours, the fit and quality are excellent, with plenty of clearance for the wires, plugs and surrounding components and so far the performance is noticable
but,that is not surprising when you compare the small factory shorties to the new pipes
a short and loud trip the the exhaust shop for some new intermediate pipes an i'm back in the business of terrorizing the neighborhood.
i shoud've done this a long time ago
now i'm ready for the Metrolina cruise tomorrow

Looked really good to me Sal. Very nice fit & finish. The only thing I can't understand is why you'd want it to sound like a stock C5.

actually i would like it to have a little more growl to it
i purchased the mufflers based on the description of the sound they make
the lesson here....is to find a car with the sound you like and ask what kind of mufflers are on it, and buy them
later on i may switch out the mufflers for some louder units
