Tagged or not tagged.
North Carolina like some others, requires tags even if the car is not alive. Of course any vehicle that can be seen by nosey neighbors and possibly the law is in violation. If its in the garage or behind a fence it's safe.This state has alot of people that have multitudes of garbage and trash in yards, sort of like the State Flower. Just keep it normal looking and all is ok. Remember, it's more taxation from honest guys with a clean addiction. As far as inspection, yes ,if it is tagged you are required to have it inspected once a year. DMV computers will catch it about 60 to 90 days past due. I have a 62 project that I have not even changed titles on because big brother does not have to know everything I do!!!
