Anyone from around there?

Headed out on vacation Saturday and looking for something nice to do for my daughters B-day while we are down there?

And hows the fishing been?

We've been going down for the last 30 years, it has grown so much!!

Glad to hear on the fishing, we're chartered on the Frequent Flyer out of Moorehead City on Tuesday.

She'll be 15 on the 30th, was thinking a nice dinner maybe in Beaufort?

My brother lives in Atlantic Beach. But honestly I have never been down there during the summer, only the winter when it is almost a ghost town.

sorry cant be much help in Beaufort ,there is a causual spot right on the docks where they have a 2 piece band that plays but we normaly go there just for drinks and munchies.alot of the places down there all will have your typical fried seafood dinners nothing really to brag about .if she is a history buff take her to Fort Macon for a 1/2 day trip it's only about 30 min drive .

In Beaufort, I would eat at Clawsons, Finz or Beaufort Grocery. In Swansboro, I would eat at Icehouse Waterfront or Gourmet Cafe. The NC Aquarium has reopened in Pine Knoll Shores, she might like it.

Schweet...She's been there once right before the remodeling started, if she doesn't I have 3 nieces and a nephew all under 5 that will.
