Just got word this past week that my dad is not doing well and was admitted to a hospital in Marrietta GA. I got a call from my sister this morning and it looks like he will not survive. I am headed to Atlanta tomorrow to be with him while I can. Please keep him your prayers.
We certainly will. Is there anything we can do? Is he at Kennestone?
Yes he is at Kennestone. Not really much anyone can do at this point but the offer really means allot. It's times like this that I remember how many true friends I have.

damn Tony.......so sorry to hear that. I've already said a prayer for your dad, as well as your safe travel to see him. I will continue to pray for him and your entire family. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you or Marie. Anything at all.
Tony, Tim & I really hate to hear that your dad's not doing well. We send our prayers and best wishes. Please have a safe trip. If there is anything we can do for you just let us know. You and Marie hang in there. You've got friends helping you through.
Your father, family, and you are in our thoughts and prayers...some of us may be a bit away, but you know if you need anything, just say the word....you know your Vette brothers and sisters are here for you.
Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes guys. I spent yesterday at the hospital in Atlanta with dad. It seems like he has taken a turn for the better. He still has a long way to go and we aren't out of the woods yet but things are looking marginally better.
I was able to talk to him and he was able to nod and shake his head. He can't talk because of the ventilator but he knew I was there. They took him off the blood pressure medicine yesterday and he is maintaining his own blood pressure it is low but not artificially controlled by medicine. His liver is regaining some function and his kidneys seem to be working better. The doctors hope to start weening him off the vent today. They say if he continues to progress he could be off it completely in 3-4 days.
Thanks again for all the prayers and support.
