Default Window Tinting *Hampton Roads area*

Anyone know of a good place to get window tinting done in the Hampton Roads area? I'd like to get the vette done.

Thanks Tommy

Yes go down denbigh blvd like going towards warwick blvd, as you go over the overpass look down on your right and theres a tint place right there, they did a great job on my vette. Also theres a body shop right beside them.

I'll check them out, thanks!

Did you do the poker run last Saturday? If you did, I was the red C5 following you during a few legs of the run. We went a few miles over the speed limit a time or two I didn't know you're a police sergeant I'll tell ya though...that's the most fun I've had in the vette in the 2yrs of ownership!

I was there too, although I was with a group (about 10) of the Streeters during it. I was in the Mag Red C5 Vert...one of four Vettes that entered the show.

They are about 5 minutes up the street from my house. They are ALWAYS busy there and I have heard some good things about their work.

I remember you. Nice vette! I had go leave before the winner was announced. How did you do?

I saw your post about going up to vettefest, and I'd like to hook up with you guys for the trip if I don't do langley speedway Saturday evening. I haven't heard back if there is a spot for me yet...giving it one more day.

Do you guy's ever go to Bass Pro Shop on Saturday evenings?

Thanks for all the replies concerning the tinting shops...much appreciated.

Yep, that was me. On the way home my ECM took a dump and left us dead on the road. Anyway, it got fixed yesterday so all is well again. Oh well, back to the tuner for a reflash I guess.

My daughter drag races just about every Saturday, but if we get another Saturday off, we'll shoot up to Bass Pro.

Oh, by the way. Extreme is in the Greenbrier section of Chesapeake.

I didn't place, but since my car is a daily driver, I do the shows for fun, not to fill up my trophy case.

I am still not sure if I am going to Vettefest or not yet, but there are several who are definatly going up there for the morning and then joining us at Langley in the evening.

BTW, Doug (Banned For Life) who is orginizing the Langly thing is out of town and is not going to be back until the 20th or the 21st, I would give it through the weekend before you make other plans.

Okay thanks for the info. I'll give it through the weekend. Maybe I'll go up to the vettefest in the morning and drive back down for the Langley eventin the evening. I've put more miles on the vette in the last two weeks than I normally do in 6 months

But it is ok, because a Vette is meant to be driven.

BTW, If you have never had a car tinted before, do your homework on the tint laws for VA. I am not really sure if the new "civil fees" we have include tinting (it used to just be considered a mechanical violation...but who knows now) Also if it is too dark, they can pull you and make you remove it right there on the spot. I have personally seen them do it before...my brother had to remove his not two hours after he got it installed

I think the tint looks hot on a Vette, but I also understand it is a little safer for the LEO's if they can see you when they stop you as well.

Yea....I put 25% on the back, and 30% on the sides

Thanks Scooter911. I took it to Extreme window tinting as I work around the corner from there. They did a great job!!
