Our ISP(Widomaker) is down hard at home..........It came up long enough for me to get my e-mail!!!!!!! The connection between fiber optic & old lines is the trouble area. Widomaker uses *** lines, so we re waiting on them, again.

Ed mine was down all last evening. :( I called the *** 800 number and got the recording that they was experiencing difficulties in the hampton roads area. They signed a deal with Excite to keep their service for three months which is supposedly going to be long enough for them to get their own service on line.

If it is raining on Saturday like they are predicting I won't be making the lunch.

Word on the street is ***'s ATM network went down due to the 'Goner' virus. As a result, that brought down some Widowmaker and VisiNet customers.

Yeh but how many of you called and got 2 weeks free service for it being down?? I did :D . If you can wait out the phone call, speaker phone, then they are always more than happy to give you some free time. As far as *** goes, we will all transition to the new network by the 28th of Feb. They paid 160 million to keep Excite afloat until then. Happy smurfing!!

I just called *** and complained about the no service issue Tuesday and Wednesday. And then last night it stopped working again.
The guy on the phone told me that were hit with a virus, and have been working to get it fixed.
He also told me, he has had a couple calls with service problems. He just wrote down my problems and say thanks, have a nice day.
Oh well, I tried to get that free 2 weeks.

Well I didn't get my two weeks but I did get three days out of them. Ed, I just hung up with the guy and his name is James. Call them back and tell them you want credit for not having access to your internet and they will at least give you credit for the days that you had to do without.
