I was once too. I haven't been diving in about 10 years.
I was with PADI as a divemaster and master diver, but I also had a NAUI cert at the basic level.

Hopefully I can run it again this week to make sure the directions are as accurate as I think they are. We've done most of this route before, but added a slightly new twist. This year we will not be ending at Volunteer Chevrolet (the economy don'tcha know?), but we will end at a new restaurant "New Orleans on the river". Everyone will be on their own for dinner this year, but the owner says he'll offer up a special for the participants. The view from the parking lot is worth the trip.
The Auction is shaping up nicely with the addition of later model cars. Previously, only 25 year old cars could be sold, now any "pre titled" special interest car can be sold.

The vendor list is also shaping up very nicely, with the usual sellers already signed up.

The ETCC will have a table to greet our friends, and plans are to have a for sale table for members assisting them in cleaning out their garage. Please stop by to see us at our table or say 'hi' to us as many members help drive cars at the auction.

Well, you answered my questions above before I could post them. Thanks and we'll see you Friday for the cruise and Saturday at the EXPO!!!!!!

What exactly does "group" mean. Will I need to make a reservation for just 2 people to eat after the cruise?

More than 4 are my thoughts on this...
Sometimes clubs travel together on trips like these and want to have a large table or tables close together. With only the two of you you should be OK, unless you join up with some folks and wish to sit with them at dinner.

Look up the ETCC while your there, we'd love to chat with you. The Jacksonville area is one of my favorite places. I experienced my first column lock problem an Amelia Island...

The Auction list has just been updated.
Thre are a bunch of no reserve cars (several Vettes)listed.
There is also a COPO Camaro, and a 1969 Corvette L-89 with all the history.

Hello Phanni,

Is it possible to pay $75 for the Sales Corral on-site? Or does everything need to be taken care of beforehand?

Thanks,
Brian

I don't know, their web site should have that information, or give Byron a call at 865-687-8303. I think you can pay at the event, but I really don't know for sure.

The website doesn't give much info at this point about the Sales Corral. The link just shows a picture of the Expo from last year.

I'll give a call to Byron this week.

The long range weather forecast is looking a little iffy right now. But, because you are from Knoxville you know that the weatherman is rarely right

Expect rain all weekend.
Gonna be there anyway. Won't be the first wet Expo I've been to.

The weather looks ok during the day tomorrow, with rain late afternoon and overnight. Saturday looks bad, however, most of the vendors are inside now, and the auction is under the big top.

80% chance of rain Saturday,,,ugh.
