Anyone got any pics yet??
Didn't make the Fri. events. Gonna try to catch the auction Sat.
Arrived at the hotel in Sevierville about 4:20, checked in, got to the event lot about 5:40. Man, what a GREAT cruise!!!!!!!! Don't know how many Vettes went but it was a good many. All shapes, sizes, and colors. What a sight!!
THANKS to all, whoever you are, for putting this together!!!
Wish I could've stayed for the cruise, but the weather got on my nerves. I enjoyed looking at the cars in the sale/auction lot when it wasn't raining. I enjoyed seeing three 35th Anniversary vettes up for auction. Where were these cars when I was looking to buy one? Just my luck.
This was the best one by far! Seems each year they get a little better. The Corvette Cruise was great! and the get together afterwards at Louisanna of the River, Hats off to Corvette Expo, Great Job!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have to take the blame for the cruise. That was me in the dirty green C-5 Convertible leading the pack. I don't think any one got lost this time.
The auction went well and several cars went for decent prices. I got to drive everything from a 57 to a 2009 in the auction. I was amazed at how few straight shifts were in the auction. Even the 57 I drove was an auto. I drove a 63 vert (4 speed) that sold at $43,000, a 2004 Z06 that didn't sell at $22,000 (59,000 miles if I recall correctly). Oh yeah, I got to help push a couple of cars up the sales ramp that wouldn't start for various reasons....
Even with the "not so great" weather, we had a blast! The Cruise was great, and dinner at New Orleans even better! Can't wait 'til next Expo! Great Job, guys!

Thanks Steve!! I even took 411 back to I40 today so I could ride part of it again!!
I have some pics but have not mastered how to put them on here yet. I'll try later on in the week.
The guys at the gate counted a bit over 100 cars.
We had a lot of folks that eat at the buffet.
I think I've finally figured out how to keep folks from getting too lost.
Last fall we had coloser to 300 ccars in the cruise, but the weather was much nicer.
I'll be updating their ( Corvetteexpo) web site in a couple of weeks with some pictures, I do that for them so my mind will stay active while in retirement.
In the meantime I'm going to the masters practise rounds.
I had a great time as usual.
I loved the Cruise, my favorite part of the whole weekend is the cruise, just seeing all the people come out in their yards or pull over to watch all those Vettes drive by is a blast.
I had to work all Saturday so I could not get back then, I was supposed to work all day Friday but could not miss it. I came early and looked around then drove 75 miles and opened up the store then closed early and drove the 75 miles back for the cruise. (there was no way I would miss that)
Early on in the cruise this year there were two small children out waving at everyone. I think I may have scared the girl and feel guilty about it. As I went by put it in neutral and revved it up a a bit and the poor little girl jumped back and looked scared. I had just picked it up Thursday from getting my headers put on and was loving the sound. Long-tube headers + no cats + Borla Quad Stingers = Awesome sound.
I had a great time there as well. I ended up being the lead car on the back 1/3 of the pack that was held back because of one of the vendors pulling out in front of us on the way out.
I had a good friend with me that navigated for us and we finally caught up to the pack around newport.
The weather could have been better, but I still had a great time. Sat afternoon ended up being fantastic after 4pm, I cleaned the car and headed up to Gatlinburg with the top out for a nice cruise and then dinner. Thanks to everyone for putting this together. I always enjoy the Rod Runs and look forward to April 17th.
Just got back into Jacksonville. The cruise was great, most of the cars seemed to stay together and a nice route. We stopped by for the meal at the end, but decided to go somewhere else. The strobes on the pace vette worked out well and kind of kept some of the non-vette traffic out of the pack. Phanni, was that you talking on the mic for the driver's meeting?
The event on Sat was ok, the weather limited lots of out door stuff. Washed the car Sat night and cruised Gatlinburg and P.F.
Today we ran the dragon 4 times......it was empty and Awesome! Fast!

Steve, it was great meeting you and your brother this weekend. This was my 1st Expo and I had a blast. The cruise was great, especially considering how the weather was supposed to be. It was fun being up at the front end of the cruise as well.
I've not had time to go thru the pics that we took, but I'll post a link up when i do.
New Orleans was a fantastic place. You know the steaks are tender when they don't have steak knives to cut with
It was great meeting a BUNCH of ETCC members and seeing some great cars and great scenery.
It was great meeting you Brian. I really enjoyed dinner with you and Kim. My other brother Steve, and I thought the cruise went well, and from the comments here I guess it did.

Nice trip! See you in the fall!
Yeah,,,that was me on the mike at the begining.
I welcome all comments, both positive and negative, on the cruise, our intent is to make everyone enthusiastic. We are very limited to routes because of traffic around that area, but this route works pretty well.
I'm checking on a slight variation for the fall cruise. The route we used last year in the fall got too many folks lost.
It was amazing how the weather cleared at the mid-afternoon time... we ended up pulling my Z06 out and wash it, and then took both cars out for a cruise along Kingston Pike down towards UT... some beautiful scenery thru there once you get down to the river.
It was a 7:45 minute drive home to PA for me last night. I was beat!
It was also neat to see Corvette World, a local vendor around me, to be there.
