The route is 85N to 77N to 81N approx 694 miles to the Carlisle exit. Easy but boring route. Watch for the cops in Virginia...radar detectors are illegal there.

hmmmm.... I am taking my son up to school in Boston. He wants to move in Sept 1. That is Tuesday. He wants to go up a day early, which would be Monday. I wonder if I can talk him into leaving Saturday and stopping at Carlisle with me. I know Sunday is just folks leaving. Don't think I have stayed for Sunday twice in 10 trips to Carlisle, but it would be better than nothing!
i won't be able to leave until early saturday morning. like around 3am. i gotta get a whole lotta parts. especially since my steering column caught fire, while i was driving.
