Default Tiger's Automotive

I just wanted to give some credit to someone who deserves it. That's David & Tiger at Tiger's Automotive Service in Raleigh, N.C.. I took my 92 Vert in on Mon. and these guys were finished with it by Tues. afternoon. First off, that in itself is remarkable that they would jump right on my car with all they already were working on and that they'd get done so fast. I went in describing what I thought was an intake leak based on a prior experience and they found a faulty wire and replaced it. In addition to that they R&R'd a starter for me and did a great job for me at a super great price.
I really appreciate these guys in the fact that they truly appreciate Vettes as specialty automobiles and treat them as such. I also appreciate their honesty and their willingness to treat me fairly when it came to pricing the repair.
It's been my experience on more than one occassion to get stuck with a crazy bill and the work turn out to be shoddy at best. I'd be willing to bet there are a couple of other Vette owners out there just like me who've been Ripped off just because they had a Vette. It seems that the mentality exists amongst a lot of repair shops that if you own a Vette you should pay more for the LABOR on it than an ordinary automobile, and on top of that, a lot of these JERKOFFS don't even deserve to be under a Vettes' hood because they don't know what they're dealing with. Anyway that is based on a lot of my experinces with owning this 92 for the last 5 years except for a couple of guys back home and then of course David and Tiger. My hat is off to them and they'll definetly get my repeat business and hopefully some of you guys as well. Best of luck to all you fellow Forum Brothers and Sisters. I look forward to getting together with some of you for up and coming cruises and car shows. T WELL

Twell, glad it worked out for you. They do know their Vettes there at Tiger's.

Look forward to seeing the 92' and meeting you at one of our many get togethers this year.

Later,
Rob

I took my 96 CE to Tiger's for them to look over before I bought it. Nice group of people. They have a great reputation from what I have seen on the internet.

When I had the new 700r4 conversion done to my '81, Tiger's was my choice. As it turned out, the new crossmember I bought from BTO didn't work out, so they modified the original one to work. It was a pretty tricky bit of engineering, but the results were great! I don't think there's anything they don't know how to do...

I just couldn't withstand the temptation this morning , so I had to drive her to work. Man let me tell you guys something, after not being behind the wheel of this thing for 3 months, I thought I had a new car. I'm grinning from ear to ear and saying bring on the sunshine, drop the top, and let the good times roll, Brothers and Sisters. What's the next up and coming event guys? Also which Vette club would be close to me here in Princeton? By the way Rob, Thanks for your help. :chevy TWELL
