Skyline Drive cruises used to be a rain or shine event. Lately, it's been a rain event... Even still, we had 23 brave Corvettes show up and a total of $810.00 was raised for Toys for Tots. An amazing total for that number of cars. Thanks to all who participated and contributed. (Especially you Ben...)
I also want to thank the SVCC for all their hard work in putting these cruises together.
Thanks,Jim, for posting your pics. We did have a great time in less than ideal weather,AND
we helped out the Toys For Tots charity !! Your pics tell the story of the day well.
Ahhh, yes, but did you notice how warm this week has been?
Yeah, but that was because you were so worn out from doing the Rain Dance followed by the Blue Norther Shuffle that you were unable to begin the Esquimaux Snow Stomp.

Val traditionally starts her Rain Dance on Tuesday prior to a Skyline cruise (witness the last two fall runs and this spring's cruise) but after everyone began pleading with her she quit the Rain Dance. Unfortunately for us, she immediately began the Blue Norther Shuffle which accounted for the extremely cold weather last weekend.
Thankfully, she was too tired to begin the Esquimaux Snow Stomp or you would have been driving your Corvette in 6+" of cold, wet snow. Now, I'll drive mine in rain but I draw the line at snow. . .
