Vettes at Waterside - Update
I just wanted to give everyone an update on the Vettes at Waterside event. As of this morning (March 7, 2010), we have 47 registered so far. Please keep in mind, because of the City of Norfolk and their rules, this is a pre-registered event only. We are allowed up to 140 cars at the event before the cutoff.
If you have not sent your registration in and plan to attend, please get yours in the mail today. If you have problems downloading the registration form from this section, you can go to www.beachcomberscorvetteclub.com and get it from the home page.
The deadline for mailing your registration is March 26, so you only have three weeks to get yours in the mail. Once you mail yours in, please allow a few weeks to get your dash sheet and arrival directions.
(if you happen to show up on April 10 and did not register, we will do what we can to get you into the event. You may have to wait until everyone who is pre-registered to get parked first?)
Just one more note, in the original tradition of Vettes at Waterside, we have decided to do away with the trophies this year. It is intended to be a fun and relaxing day with Vettes and friends and NOT a car show. If you're only coming to win a trophy, you might be a little disappointed. Remember, all of the net proceeds will go to Relay for Life!
