My thoughts and prayers are with all my brothers and sisters on the NC coast! I hope it heads East very quickly. I own a beach house on Oak Island and hope there is minimal damage. Leave the house and head inland, you can always fix your house not so easy to fix your family! Good luck!

SHHHHHHHHHH keep it a secret! OKI is a jewel that is a very well kept secret! Just got info that there is minimal damage and a few trees down on the island. Looks like we dodged a bullet, hopefully everybody else will be so lucky!

Friends recently bought a house on OKI. Hope all make it through safely.
In the past 2 days I have gotten at least 5 emails from concerned friends and family. good grief, have you looked at a map?
We aren't even getting any drizzle here in Charlotte. And several of these emails are coming from NY, NJ, and Boston. They are going to get pounded; we get nothing.
