May be a good idea to bring walkies if you have em. Even cheap ones can cover a group of a dozen cars in the event someone needs clearance to pass or a car/s get separated from the group.

Another member had suggested this. Feel free to being them if you have them. I would suggest that everyone print maps of the route ahead of time.

Hey I was just tossing it out as an idea. Cell phones will even do push to talk with an app if they're android/ios. I'm not opposing walkie talkies if you have them, just that im sure many dont including me

Hi Shawn

VIR was great!!!

Here's a link to a thread in the AutoX/Roadrace section. Everything up to about post# 160 is before the event, and that post on is during/after:

Here's an IMPORTANT update. I just called Alexander Spring. They are graciously waving the admission fees as previously agreed for us based on the fact that it will be a short pit stop, but the park manager advised me that they are expecting a big turn out due to the recent rains and cannot reserve spaces. They have 125 parking spaces available and she thinks we should be ok. She did indicate that parking could be full by the time we arrive. So be prepared to keep rolling. Also, we are by passing the Boat Show marina stop in Deland and returning straight to 46 ENT District as planned on the route. All cars participating please be fueled prior to leaving. Because of the unexpected number of cars joining in, there will be no provisions for fuel stops along the way. Look forward to seeing you all for a great drive and a relaxing fun time.
