You are expected to arrive at the departure/staging area between Noon and 3p. My car at that time was not lowered and had no issues being taken up the ramp and loaded onto the train-car. Not a scratch.
This was a radio-promotion for me and I paid nothing, so I was in a cabin, which can elevate the price, whereas its much cheaper sitting in coach, but you're then sitting with general population and sitting upright trying to sleep.
