Default Decoding tire date

I think I need tires from what I think the tire date is. My deciphering skills tell me these tires are dated the 45th week of 2001. Here's the DOT# ANUUNX 714501

You are correct
Last 4 of DOT code = date
first 2 = week
last 2 = year

SORRY BUT THEY ARE WAY OVERDUE FOR NEW. 10 yrs max.

First I'd decide if you want a stock look. 69 wheels are 1" wider (if I recall correctly) and still look stock. Optional hubcaps weigh a ton. I'd be looking for Michelin. If you go retro you have more choices. Here's a retro model that I happen to like...
