I'm right up the road from you in Seymour and was without power a week. Spent days with a tow strap and my Toyota 4WD helping get people out of ditches and up hills.

I remember that, I lived in Granger County at the time and my now wife but GF at the time lived in Morristown. I drove a Fiero at the time, I drove the Fiero from Granger county to Morristown in the middle of the night (2 or 3 am) hoping to get there before it got bad. Before I got there I was plowing snow but that dang little car never had any issues going. I was passing all types of cars that had gotten stuck but I kept on going. If the snow had not gotten deep enough to cover the car completely in places, I think it would have gone anywhere

no doubt there were places that your car would have been completely covered with snow. The wind was blowing so hard here there were three and four foot snow banks.

That snow was the 1st time I got to sleep over at her house for a few days because I could not leave.... Somehow no children resulted that week. (for us at least) I now live in that exact house with her.

that is great !! I bet there are a million good stories from that blizzard. Was some hard times in there too, but looking back, it was more than just a weather event for a lot of us.

I use Booking.com for all my trips to Pigeon Forge and they've been great. Wide selection of hotels and the majority of them have free cancellation up to two days before your stay. That's very helpful so you can get the most updated forecast before you go.

You're welcome....Unfortunately I won't be able to drive mine on the nice days this week. Working until Friday (when it starts raining).

The much-too-early-to-tell forecast shows mostly clearly weather albeit slightly chilly for the Expo. I'm getting excited! I've got the Vette paint corrected and ready to roll.
