out for the show. It will be the my first time attending the show so I'm looking forward to it! You guys have any tips on parking and tickets if any etc etc TIA

If you drive the Vette and get there early parking is FREE and you park with all the other Vettes, im sure you can buy a weekend pass at the gate. If the area Hotel rates are to expensive you can always stay at Strawberry plains exit which is outside of Knoxville.
We are going with a group from our Corvette club in Hendersonville North Carolina. Looking forward to it. Check us out Apple country Corvette club. Anyone in Western North Carolina should check us out we do lots of cruises get togethers and club meetings.
This will be my first time going to the Corvette expo can't wait.
My wife and I drove our 17Z up from the Atlanta area on Wed afternoon, our first time as well but have already met some outstanding folks! Looking forward to the show today.
Local here and going today and tomorrow. Weather should be clear in time for the cruise. It's going to rain for a few hours, starting about 11-12 though.
The Dragon was great as always! But Lord have mercy I didn't realize how much time the Foothills Parkway cut off that trip. The detour sure was something.
Just wanted to take a moment to thank Mr. D (he was parked next to me with his very rare & PRISTINE Carbon 65 C7 Z06), as well as Mr. N & Ms. R, who we ended up having dinner with later Fri evening. Y'all made the drive up from Atlanta well worth it just to meet you fine folks & get a chance to hear your stories. Thank you so much for your time.
A special mention to Mr. D - I didn't get a chance to say goodbye after my wife, our dog and I headed off to grab a Kilbasa on the golf-cart, but if you read this, It was entirely my pleasure to bend your ear (most of which was in the rain & wind), but I appreciated the time you spent with me immensely.... Again, making the drive up from Atlanta well worth the opportunity to speak to such a kind and knowledgeable gentleman.
The turnout today was incredible. It was a pleasure meeting @leebay and seeing his pristine C6! My friend I parked next to the nicest couple from Alabama in their black rose C7 M7 Z51. We talked and laughed a lot today. I love being a part of this community with such great people.
Also posted my personal best on the G meter going down the Dragon. I don't think I'll be able to beat 1.3g but quitters never win
This year's show was something. If you missed it you missed a great bunch of people and seeing some awesome cars. I think this was one of the best Corvette Expos over the last few years.
Looks like a pretty good turnout. Hopefully everyone had a good time. More pics would be great to see.
Probably not what you're looking for, but I can add a pic of my wife and pooch in front of our Z06 & some quick shots I did for Mr. Nick & his GS that was parked beside me if it helps ...
Mr. Nick's GS "glamour shots":
Best regards,
Greg

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
