It is actually 3 events over 2 days...during the day Saturday is the Ecklers National Corvette Challenge with the largest purse of any all Vette drag race ever...Saturday night is the Gamblers race and Sunday is the Clash of the Titans, Tuner Shootout during the day...btw, both Saturday races DO allow street tires.... :thumbs:

Geogrphic wise where is this in the state of SC...I mean if the SMC group is going would they have to drive by Charlotte to get down there? I'm all for a little caravan, shoot I'll even stay over on Saturday night. If we caravan then maybe we leave at around 6 amd from Charlotte.

Sorry rick i cant speak for the whole SMC... but i sure would love to see this event... i have a feeling this is gonna be special... ill see if bob wants to come with me.. now hes making some power i am sure he would love to compete in a stock cubic inch class... i think there is one of those isnt there? anyway... the more i think about it the more i wanna make this... as for SMC... ill see if anyone else is available... as for a caravan i wouldnt mind hooking up with you in charlotte but i wont be able to hang with that beast of yours very long... all i got is my dragon breath sticker across my windshield... but HECK!!! its worth 5rwhp right?

I'm staying at the Super 8 Motel..it's a 6 year old property that I hear is nice....it's $50 a night and includes breakfast plus all the sausage biscuits you care to eat.. :thumbs: ... call 803-641-8800 and make sure to tell them you are there for the races to get the special rate... :yesnod:
