It's about 170 miles away. If we drive from Charlotte, me-rick-randy, then it should only take what an hour if we go like we did from Gaffney on the mountain cruise :D

Rick, Randy have yall thought of renting an open or closed trailor to take down? Would be bad to break and be stranded. This place down from the house has both types. Just a thought.

Alright I just got done meeting with the SMC group here in Knoxville and I'm in. I will probably go down on Friday night and race on Saturday. I would like to set up a mini caravan with the SMC to go from Columbia on to the track. Does anyone know where everyone is staying and are there discounts?

:lurk: I think your idea of a trailer being available is smart. Things do break at the track. I make a good pit crew member. Cheap, too.

Tom, you can fly a jet..............can you pull a trailer?

With a truck, not with a rope like Rick :nono:

I think I can handle a truck pulling a trailer. Can you guys handle the 1/4 mile? I'll issue flying lessons, cause you guys will be flying across the finish line. :yesnod: What about this for a plan, everyone racing, chips in on the trailer rental. If nobody breaks, the winner gets a piggy back home if they want. If someone does break, we can get them home on the trailer. Simple enough?

I was thinking of a piggy back down as well!!! :D

Just remember fellas to look out your window, it is Febuary and too far away to even see if weather will cooperate! Those Jersey boys might have a blizzard to come through too so I'm in the wait and see mode for now.

Yeah, I'm planning on coming if the weather cooperates. I'm just wondering who thought of a drag race in SC in February?!? About 4-5 weeks later sure would have been much nicer.
