Jud, Go to a motorcycle shop and pick one out. Or just buy Dave's. I found one at the Rock Hill Motor Cycle store. They have so many designs and colors.

Boy, a guy gets married and pretty soon he'll sell the Vette. You can get a good deal on a mini van now.

No threat of a woman ever controlling what I do...this isn't my first marriage.

Anybody else want to come see the quiet silver put the smack down on the loudmouth widebody integra (again) should be there early Sunday

Be careful who you call out just cause you had a good night at the poker table

If it's on then it's on, but I will need to borrow a helmet
I think your Math is a little fuzzy:

Car Show...I din't have the heart to tell you but in our club Bylaws it is written that all the Noobs coming into the Gang are given their first Auto-Fair Trophy.

Drag Strip...Come-on now..I't was like putting a Grey Hound in the race with a broken leg. Damn my car was not even on the Juice that day

Auto-X...True you had the best time of those who "MISSED" a whole set of cones...and True that those of us who actually ran the course as per the rules were about 1 second slower!!

Poker...Well actually you are right on there. If you would have stayed home that night maybe you could afford Dave's Helmet

**Seriously though this is going to be alot of fun. The entry list is showing alot of small light cars so I imagine that the track is going to be low speed, tight and much shorter then Sanford. This will make any cars producing High HP numbers to be at an even greater disadvantage. Won't be surprised at all if Tom beats up all...of course then I would have to KILL him, but hey it will be fun none-the-less!

I'm coming and I HOPE with the car. A friend is bringing an '88. Another guy coming with us is bringing something but I have no idea what. Weather looks good at this point, just a little chilly. Hope that holds. I've got a Snell 85 Vetter full face helmet from my stock car days. It's in good condition, anyone know if that'll be alright? I may even bring my Nomex, cause that stuff's WARM. Also, after losing 30 lbs. this year, it'll actually fit again! Now, I'll just have to remember to turn RIGHT sometimes!

Hey Tom, how about posting that checklist that I know you have? I'll be scrambling to try and get the car ready and won't be able to "multi-task" very well!

Actually you lost in spring because who (besides your lady) would vote for a pink car . Also another GM performance club voted in the Spring, not the Datsun 280Z club.

NitroC5 with no gas is just not fast . All I know is I have the drag runs/times on video You can even get a GLIMPSE of Bob Moss' customers bolt on A4's bumper at the 60' line although it's still not as bad as me against Major Spray

Randy, you need to make a trip to Raleigh!!! Don't pick on the black monster (Is300) It already looks mean. Check out Swiftracing.com at the 2.5 turbo kit--------------that's me!!! 550 fwhp

All in fun though, I'm still holding a grudge with Rick about the card game.

It kind of went like this:
1) Helmet
2) replace brake pads
3) replace brake fluid
4) get registered to get your #
5) driving gloves (my wheel is slippery)
6) tire pressure gauge
7) torque your wheels to at least 90 lb-ft
8) take everything out that can come out (stuff in glovebox, etc)
9) some take out rear spare tire and hanger
10) fire extinquisher
11) tire marker (yellow chaulk) to see tire roll
12) extra bottle of oil
13) make sure your battery is secure
14) water to drink
15) piece of paper for notes while walking the track
16) note on dash: "turn off ASR, turn on camera"
17) maybe some cleaner polish to remove the cone marks
18) a couple of rags
19) a chair
20) chap stick, cause you're going to be smiling a lot.

How's that?
