You are a true sportsman, since the go-kart track gives you the advantage . . .

I too will cancel if they are not running the full course

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

I just got an email from Johnny -- he said he was "kidding" and of course we have to run the Bowl.

Event Back On. All is right with the world.

They had been planning to have RICHARD run without the Bowl to give him an "edge" and the rest of us were to run the full course. I pointed out to Johnny and Kailo in a conference call just a few minutes ago that this was both unfair to the Corvettes and potentially dangerous at the merger point (look at the above track maps). So, after some discussion, it was decided that we would still run the full course BUT RICHARD would have to run by himself on the dirt oval.

JUSTICE PREVAILS, MOST of us will be running the full course with Bowl and Skid Pad clockwise.

If Richard does well on the dirt track, there is talk of letting him join us.

Allan -

I'll be running on 3 wheels at SOW faster than you do on 4. See you there.

BTW, the original question I asked Johnny that still hasn't been answered is if we are running the Blowpass or the Original (longer) Turn 4. Most of you geezers probably don't even know what I'm talking about. I'll go out at 7:30 and cone off the proper course.

Let's run CCW after lunch.

^^^ Only mystery of that video is why it took so long for the Corvette to catch the BMW. It does a good job of showing the track run CCW.

^^^Nice video, but the chicanes don't look like that anymore (see Cloaked's CCW video) and I heard that they just repaved 1/2 the track, from turn 2 to the bowl. This video does show the "blowpass" instead of the older long (drifter's) turn 4.

17 cars signed up as of today - if you like a clear track, this could be your chance . . .

I am 50/50 on it now. I need to get some new front tires. I have a little bit of tread left on the edges.

Nothing wrong with that - just drop the air pressure a bit to use up the edges and you'll be fine.
