I dont remember the plate on that car, but how about a brown 74 Camaro very fast, plateDo me too? Bosco's 70 SOHC Mustang Popstoy? There was a girl in a very nice gold Mustang Mach 1 with centerlines and a 428 Cobra Jet. A friend of mine was in a 66 Chevelle primer black and plate Ratical. And I was in a very green 70 Duster with a 340 six pack. I could go on and on. I remember this stuff like it was yesterday.

Tell more on the brown 74 Camaro. I think I beat that with my 67 on a street that we usually never used, but somehow used that night. I spotted him 12-14 cars if I remember. Did it have a "Paxton" or something else odd on it? Early 80's, and I was running in the wrong lane facing potential traffic if it were normal hours.

Default 74 Camaro

From what I remember the car was brown and had Centerlines. I think the wheel openings were cut for tire clearence. I raced him once and got beat but not by much. My car was probably high 12s. I figure he was sand bagging because at other times the car looked much faster. Don't remember a Paxton and I probably would have. They were pretty unusual in those days. And yes this was between 1977 and 1981.

If I remember correctly DoMeTo was a 74ish Big Block Camaro (maybe 427, that's what he used to say) Hung out at Super Shops a lot.

Dang... you guys are REALLY OLD!!!

For those going out... you can get there 'early' to get a spot in Rydell's parking however cars are coming/going all night long so there's always somewhere to park... eventually. Besides, it's called a "cruise" for a reason.

Old man Boskovich (Boskovich Farms). I went to school with his nephew Scott. He had the quickest car in North Hollywood High. A 68 or 9 Mach 1. Bad sonofabitch among a LOT of rich kids street racer cars

We were there in the 65 Malibu. It was the first time in a while that my wife, son, and I were all able to go to a cruise in the same car.

The original Van Nuys Cruise days were before my time. However, I used to run off of Glen Oaks, and occasionally hang-out at Kevin's Burgers.Since my wife and son are both on the forum, I'll stop there.

It looked like this (still needing assembly, except, I put rally wheels with disc caps on it yesterday.

I gotta get off the computer and get the Vette ready to take to Famoso Friday.
