Default Chucks00 -Corvettes For NASCAR Drivers at Fontana?

This post is directed at Chucks00 or anyone else who might have information on this subject.

I watched the NASCAR race yesterday at Phoenix, and noticed that they were using Corvettes to carry the NASCAR drivers around on the parade lap. I just wondered if there has been any word from the Auto Club Speedway, if they will like to have Corvettes for the March 26/27th race?

We did this for the drivers for the last couple of years, and it was always a lot of fun.

If we are going to get an invitation....time is getting a little short. A year ago when we did, my driver was Tony Stewart..he was a pretty cool guy

Chuck has moved to the east coast.

I have been involved with the NASCAR Drivers Parade Lap three times. The last word that I got was that the track was going to be using FORD vehicles for the parade lap event.

It's a coporate sponsor thing and Chevy was happy to let us use our Corvettes for the parade lap but I think that FORD paid more to sponsor the drivers parade lap than Chevy wanted to pay. Cash is what it's all about my friends!

May be on the East Coast but still hanging out on in the West.

I have been contacted by the Track to be on stand-by. Hoping to hear something this week. I will post as soon as I know something.

I knew you would pop up sooner or later my friend! I hope that ACS will give us the GO ahead and we will be able to do this again.

Try to stay warm out there in the east Chuck!

The priority one is for the Corvette convertibles who have done the parade lap event in the past and second priority is for all new Corvette convertibles who would like to participate. The Speedway always wanted the cars to be convertibles only but we have never had 43 Corvette convertibles to show up so your in good shape.

Let's hope we will get the GO word from ACS.

Hopefully they will use us! For real, the couple of times I participated, while parked waiting to pick up the drivers, the fans there were awesome, took pictures next to our cars and asked questions about the vettes in general. All the people that I chatted with thought it was so cool that we just donated our time and cars to be part of the experience. I even had a few fans that I met while waiting to pick up our driver send me emails of pics they took. HOW cool is that.
