Default Corvettes at Bondurant

Got home a few hours ago from the first "Corvettes at Bondurant" event. It was 2 days of hanging out with some of the coolest people you've ever met. From the staff at Bondurant, Bob Bondurant and his wife, Johnny O'Connell, Doug Fehan and Darren Law, Aaron Pfadt, his wife and their friend Kevin. To the other drivers it was just fun times. I went up to Johnny and said hey you mind driving my Vette around the track and he said heck yeah lets do this. Below is the video of his magic. I want to thank everyone that made this even possible from the Bondurant team, Corvette racing, Pfadt team, and all the corvette guys that showed up making it a successful event.

Also sorry guys I missed out on the Corvette Challenge I was thinking about you all and talking about you to most everyone. And apparently Mr. Dirty Howie is a celebrity. Also Steve if you're here congratulations for your award man.

I'm here...thanks. Congrts on your award...great driving!

That weekend was incredible on a scale I can not describe. I've been a race fan for quite sometime and to meet all of those people and find out how cool and down to earth they are. I learned a lot about cars, driving, corvettes, marketing...etc.

Moments like the conversation we had with Pete...the stories that were told...the history...priceless! Hell, Johnny O telling to open my door so he could ride with me...the talks I had with Doug Fehan...I could go on and on....

But I also apprieciate the people I met like you and Bud and I hope to see you guys at some events here in CA.

Sounds like a blast!! I'm less then 300 miles away, and would have been there if it was not conflicting with the final corvette Challenge...

When is the next event there?

Default Best Corvette Experience Ever

It's all true. Fantastic opportunity to rub shoulders with world famous race drivers...and learn from them. And wait until you ride along with them as they dice with their peers at 120+ mph, passing in corners and scaring you ****less (in a good way).

Also, the cost was a fraction of the usual Bondurant price, the hotel was inexpensive & the people, top to bottom, were the best!

Thanks a million to Bondurant, Corvette Racing and GM. The best automotive experience in this car nut's life.

I'll be there next year with my Corvettes of SoCal brothers.
