I ended up using Americas Tire in Costa Mesa. They did a good job mounting the tires but did put a very small chip in the clear coat on one rim. The manager told me about the chip upfront and I let it slide as it was very small and not really noticeable.

Might check to see if clear fingernail polish or something will prevent any further flaking.

The first is always the worst!

Now, a Block run!

Thanks for the tip, I got some nail polish at Walgreen's for $.20 (on sale) and put some on for good measure.

I ended up going to America's Tire in Orange (across the street from Selman). Rudy the manager did my wheels personally (even though he was ready to go home sick when I called). Took almost 3 hours of fighting, but the Cup 2's went on the new wheels. Rudy went above and beyond to get the job done. They do a lot of wheel and tire work for Selman.

there is a shop in Long Beach called EF1 Motorsports and they do a real good job on installing race tires.

I wanted to update this with a recommendation. Grand Prix over in Costa Mesa just mounted up a set of Cup 2s on my OEM wheels and did a great job: http://www.grandprixperformance.com/

I had actually brought the wheels and tires over to another shop near my home in Aliso Viejo and they were not able to get the bead to seat and left the job 1/2 done. Tires were mounted but they could not get them beaded. I had to take the tires elsewhere to get them mounted. So what I'm say is DO NOT go to Trusted Tire (GoodYear) in Aliso Viejo. https://trustedtire.com/

So you're saying, they are not to be trusted.
