Not really a performance shop, but does anyone know where I can get a new, stock cam (+ lifters), and also get someone to take a look at some cylinder heads and do a valve job on an LT1?

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees' baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.  god have mercy on those VW's.
:jester
And as far as being "back" goes, you won't see me on any more SCMRs, so you and all SoCal VW owners can rest easily.
Well, hopefully you'll change your mind - you know you're always welcome on the SCMR's. But I can understand if you don't want to go on anymore of them. :yesnod:
You planning on going to Willow Springs on 5/19 though? I know you mentioned you were thinking about it.
Oh, and can you change your Avatar? I hate seeing a Corvette in that condition! :( You should show a picture of your first Vette in its heyday, not at its darkest moment. :auto:
If I were looking for an engine builder or tuner, I would contact Westech and ask them who the best Corvette guys are (they build and own several Vettes). If the tuners are using their SuperFlow engine dynos to tune and diagnose, then they are the real deal. Talk to Rick Stoner at Westech at 909-685-4767. I met him through SuperFlow about a month ago. Tell him that Brad with the Viper sent you.
I'm not one to believe the hype from tuners. Numbers are fudged all of the time and too many of them are smoking crack and believing their own hype.
