I don't know if anyone has posted these yet or not, so I thought I would. These were taken a few months ago from the platform of the Cedar Park Fire Depatment ladder truck. This is only about half of the cars that are usually there now.

Hey Clyde,
Where did you get those pics? Nice! I remember that Saturday, but my car was still in the "overflow" parking so it isn't in the pics. I'm going to Houston this Saturday but am going to try and make it back by 6. I've been in Boston for a bit that's why I haven't shown up for the last month or so. I'll see you guys on Saturday, even if I do get there late, I'll park wherever I fit.....even if it is with the mustangs....ok, maybe not.

Cary, you going to be there?

Juan

I'm leaning towards ... ... just need to talk Susan into the same notion. If so, I'd like to get there NLT 1830 & park in the same area as Clyde.

BTW, my Red Top is still working strong.

Glad to hear that, I just got mine about 2 months ago. Works great but it also looks good. Hope to see you out on Saturday.

Get there by 6-6:30 and we could get together in one area. Other regulars and I have been in the last rows (directly behind Whataburger) for weeks but it fills up fast. Lots of Longhorn Corvette Club members show every week along with 6-8 other regulars. Maximum number of Corvettes probably was above 30 week before last (out of a couple of hundred + cars. A great free show.

Another great show. But the noisemakers were back. I'll never understand the fascination some people have with LOUD. The same clowns that got Van's shut down a couple of months ago, lowered trucks with LOUD music cruising the aisles and straight pipe Harleys revving their motors.

Maybe somebody is doing something, around 9PM a tow truck and 2-3 Cop cars showed up.

Still a good place to be on a Sat night, lots of interesting cars and interesting people to talk to.

My wife & I were there from 7-8pm. I noticed some Mustangs were loud and probably were running straight pipes. Plus, seems like more folks accelerate pretty hard once on 1431, upon exiting the Show.

The weather was much cooler than last week. I'd stayed longer, yet the wifey was not feeling well. I seriously doubt I'll make the Show next week d/t USAR weekend in San Antonio.

Sorry we had to leave early this week, we had to go get dressed to go to San Antonio that night. She thought (or so she makes me think) it was just for dinner, but I popped the question in front of The Alamo. We're getting married on Feb. 18th.

Congrats!

Wow, brings a whole new meaning to the phrase, 'Remember the Alamo'.

Hey Juan, congratulations! That's great. My wife & I hope you have many happy years of wonderful wedded bliss together. We'll be married 37 years on September 28th and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks Clyde and Cary. Now it's just the stress of planning the whole thing.

Considering the whole UT/OSU thing going on this Saturday night, is anyone planning on tailgating?

I'd consider coming out if the game can be seen in HD, but otherwise, I'll be at home watching it on my 65".

I'll be there as long as it's not raining. I'm kind of curious as to how many car nuts are more into College football than cars.

Really a small turnout last night. Must be lots of U.T. (or Ohio State) fans that wanted to watch the first half of the game. I got home in time to see the second half, great game.

Slow last week, but pretty nice, no ricers, no jacked up trucks and few Harleys! Must have been the UT game?

Must have been something in the air, even the LCC social meet last Wed. was slow, only about 26 of us showed.

Hey guys just moved to the area and have read about this "show" on several sites. I was wondering if it will continue through the fall and the winter or is it more of a summer thing. Im hoping that it will go for a while so i can check it out. Should have the new car in the next month We had a similar show in colorado and it was always fun but usually only 5 to 10 vettes so this one sounds much better to me.

Pretty good turnout last Sat.

I was handed a printed sheet for a new meet on FRIDAY night at JR's Restaurant and Bar, 6901 N. I35 (on the I35 Northbound access road between 290E and St. Johns) 6:30 to 10:00 PM every FRi. starting 9-23-05. Will have to check it out.
