Our Corvette fun includes so much, read on.... We have an awesome huge 14,000+ square foot ballroom to house our Concours de Elegance and Wash & Show at the DoubleTree Resort. CORVETTE RACE ODYSSEY our Low & High Speed Autocrosses on the EAST COURSE at Firebird Int. Raceway and a "Silver Sail Kitty" Rallye,
to round out the competition.
For more out of this world fun, enjoy Chuck E Baby, a Golf Tournament, tube the cool river with “The Starship Admiral”; enjoy our “Bottomless Keg of Beer” at our AREA 51 Hospitality Room! AREA 51 is a place that will be Millard Central. Clubs: join in the "Invasion of the Party Snatchers" Club Challenge. Have your Club set up a Hospitality Room and be a Party Snatcher! Awards for the best SNATCHERS!
Get ready for the "Outer Space Alien & Extraterrestrials" Costume Party! Spaceships from Earth have been improved immensely and humans have finally made contact with other civilizations: extraterrestrial life is not as rare as we once thought. They will be at Millard! Since 2001, intergalactic travel is as common as making a phone call to your friend in Texas! Not all civilizations are as highly developed as on Earth Corvetters. Find them thriving at the Party. There will be judges from Mars that will award special galactical space awards for the best costumes for couple, club, man and lady. Mardi Gras Costumes will give us a 15% discount this year again. They have so many fanciful and authentic costumes. Contact (480) 948-4030 and tell them you are with Desert Corvette Association for the Labor Day Space party!
Sunday, the DoubleTree's special AREA 51 pool is the site for the wildest (adult) "Probe the Black Hole" Pool Party on earth with the universally renowned “Tholian Jim”, our cool DJ! This year we plan some out of this world wet fun!
Later that evening, celebrate with us at our "Silver & Black 25th Anniversary Gala Ball" Dinner and Dance. We plan a ritzy evening with silver the color of choice to wear this night. We honor our 25th year of Millard with a fine culinary feast and dancing until the stars blast off. And on Monday morning, the grand finale, we find ourselves at the "so sad it’s over" Awards Breakfast with tons of trophies and awards! What an extraterrestrial time we shall have!
