When is the Hot Springs Corvette weekend? I remember hearing about it but don't remember when it was.
Yeh, I guess I am. I keep hearing how good the weekend is, and I finally got a weekend off. I will probably leave Friday morning. The dates are
17th-20th of April. If you guys want to go let me know.

Was that you I saw on the 169 overpass in owasso yesterday? I wasn't sure and decided not to roll down the window to yell at you.
Anyone going to Hallett this weekend? We will be there Friday and Saturday racing and having fun. We are staying in Tulsa Friday night and heading back to OKC to race Sunday.

I wasn't planning on it but let me know if you guys want to get together for a few drinks afterwards
I might take the car to Hallett and set it out for sale. Watching vettes race is always fun. who is in with me? Chad, Scott,....................
I am beginning to wonder about my clutch. I have tried changing the clutch fluid and it still sticks right away with a high rpm shift. Been researching and seems like the only way to solve it is a new clutch. Ranger says flushing the fluid works, but I am not having any luck. If I go to Hallett, I am gonna want to run!

There will be plenty of drinking at the motel Friday night, stop by and visit with us, there will be folks from several states there with some really cool Corvettes.
Hotel is the Baymont Inn on Skelly, I44 and Yale behind Don Pablos.

SicSix welcome to my world, i got to 12.02 but 3rd and 4th gear are slipping really bad. Fluid change did not help. What's up at Hallett, what's involved in being able to run? Mine still runs great until WOT shifts in 3rd and 4th.
What I have been doing is taking a turkey baster and sucking out the black fluid and filling with dot 4 then pumping the clutch 20 times. Then I repeat this 4 to 5 times. I can then go out right away and drive the car hard and the clutch already starts sticking half way up. Very Frustrating!

You gonna do an aftermarket clutch? I am starting to think that is my only solution. I am thinking textralia.

Changing the fluid is good for the clutch, but if you are having a problem, then you need to bleed the clutch. This is not an easy thing to do our cars since the clutch bleader is up on top of the slave cylinder. Most people install a remote bleader when they change their clutch out. I have never tried to blead one that is already installed so i don't know how easy it is to do. A pressure bleader or a speed bleader would make your job easier.

Sure, I'll go watch. I don't think I have anything going on this weekend.

I'm planning on buying a pressure bleeder sometime soon. When I get it, we can get together and do both of our clutches at once. I'm doing the turkey baster method now but want to get a pressure bleeder to make it easier and so I can do my brakes. I'll let you know when I get one.
Anybody going to the Broken Arrow cruise-in tonight?
