I hate that Andy is not going to be able to make it. Now that I have 2 Vettes in the garage I was going to offer the Pace Car up for the weekend. By the way thanks, "Loose Lips" Matlock for ruining my surprise Z06 debut!
I am sorry Jeff for ruining the surprise. I guess my punishment will have to be that you let me drive it...lol....or at least sit in it

No problem, we can arrange a test drive (sober of course). For your punishment I have arranged a special spectator spot at the burnout contest just for you.....just behind the rear tires! Ask Steve how his beer turned black last year!
Almost got sucked up in a Tornado tonight. We left my in laws at 97th and sheridan after the Tornado sirens started sounding. We got on the creek turnpike to try and meet my parents in BA to let them in my shelter. We were at creek and memorial when jim giles news 6 said there was a tornado forming at 111th and memorial. So I look over the top of trinity auto body and there it is (no camera). I stomped the Hemi and tried to outrun it by staying on the creek. We are doing 90 over roller coaster bridge and I look up and it is about to come across the road by the toll booth. I would have outran it but a bunch of idiots slammed on their brakes when they saw it and slowed way down right next to it. So I push the guy in front of me to go by flashing my brights and attaching my car to his bumper at 90! The thing is half way to the ground blowing leaves and stuff all over the road as it came through us. It blew my Jeep onto the shoulder while the wife was screaming at me with driving instructions on how to avoid it and the car in front of me. It was honestly one of the scariest moments ever for me. My knees shook for 20 minutes afterwards. I thought we were either going to be blown over or in a pretty bad wreck. It was a bad idea to try and outrun it, I should have stopped at memorial and let it go by but I was not sure were it was headed. It never did form and touch but it came very close to the ground. Exciting but scary!
Did anyone see a forming or have any wind damage?
I was outside grilling my dinner on the back patio, watching the cold, heavy front roll in and seeing all my neighbors shaking their heads at me while they were ducking in and out of their storm shelters.

LOL.
not even a tornado can get between a man and his burgers...
Glad you and Aimee are okay! I drove home from okc yesterday and it was one of the worst trips I have ever had. I left Moore about 5:15 and about that time there were tornadoes near edmond and as I was heading north on I35 that said they were near frontier city. The winds were so strong I couldn't keep my truck in the lane. I pulled off and waited for 30 minutes. Then the entire trip back to Tulsa it rained and I was hydroplaning. Then as I am arriving in Tulsa I hear them mention the same tornado at 111th and memorial that started in Bixby. I was also on the creek near Jenks. I was a few miles behind you Steve. I never saw anything but the winds and rain (the creek was flooding) were horrible. Then to make things worse after 3 hours of driving, I get home and loose power for 2 hours! What a day.
I was also in that crazy storm at 111th & Memorial! I had the wife and all three kids with me. People were running around screaming and crying which got the kids completely frantic. It sounded like the roof was going to blow right off at any moment. Kelly and I tried to calm the kids but we didn't do a very good job. They locked the store down and called for everyone to huddle in the center of the store. We headed for the baby section and started pulling all the strollers & baby seats out of the bottom shelves and hovered over the kids underneath the racks for about 30 minutes. Finally they called for the cashiers to head back to their registers and they let us go. It was intense! Here's a video of the storm as it passed 151st & Memorial out by my house. It looks exactly like what Steve described in his rear view mirror! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVmYO6lRSqU

That's crazy!!!! I can't believe it. So are you gonna come over and buy this one for TX?
Wow! I didn't realize the weather was that bad. Glad everybody made it out okay. I had a similar situation here. I took the ferry across they bay and it was only 70 degrees and sunny! Then I came back and had to go to Ruth's Chris for dinner before taking a drive down to the beach watch the sun set across the Pacific. It was scary!
Yea, after I install the tranny cooler. Hey bring my tranny fluid pump and all that **** back over Saturday. I'll install that while you install your present. lol..

I would not have told anyone that you took the ferry across the bay, oh well now we all know.
