Thanks Rob. Yah let me know what your schedule is the next couple of weekends and we'll see if we can coordinate with steve and get over there and switch those out. January is a tough month for me with work but a saturday afternoon might work. Alta mere in BA does a pretty good tint job if u are still looking for a place. Reasonable price too.

I've been to Lonestar Corvette Weekend for 3 years now. I love going around the oval with the top down at 140+ and I'd like to try the infield road course. It's fun but going with TVS, all we do is go to the show, eat, and go to the hotel and sleep. I would like to drive around and see what else is around. Maybe head further down into Texas and see what the nightlife is like there. If you guys are up for going I'm in.

I'm sure you can find anything you want (and some things you don't!) in Dallas

I'll let you know about the weekends. I think this Saturday is taken...but the next is likely free. I'll shoot you a PM...

Thanks for the tip on Alta Mere. I thought your windows looked great and will probably go there. I'll tell them you sent me that way.

Default Oil Change

Okay guys, so as soon as my Race Ramps get here, I'm changing my oil. after much research on here, I'm using Mobil 1 oil and a WIX filter unless someone can give me a good reason not to.

Don't I remember you saying you have to park outside? Let me know if you want to do it in a garage. You're welcome to come over here. If the day is cold when they arrive, I also have a heater. I'd say your oil/filter choice is perfectly fine.

Have you arlready ordered the raceramps? Sounds like it. My 98 was lowered and it still worked fine with some ramps cut out of 4x4 and jack/stands. Might be a cheaper alternative which would alternately let you get the car higher at a later time if you wanted to do other work. (meaning the height of the stands vs. the ramps)

Yeah, I'll be outdoors so I'm hoping for some good weather when they arrive. I found a good deal on them so went ahead and ordered. I did the 2x6 - 2x12 option a couple of times but went ahead and splurged for the ramps to make things easier. I have a 20" low profile floor jack and 4 jack stands that I can use in situations where I want it higher. I can just pull it on the ramp, use the wood under the back tires, and lift the whole car from there. Depending on how the weather's looking when the time comes, I might just take you up on that offer. Thanks.

I believe there will be a handful of us going to Joe's next weekend out of Tulsa - not sure of the exact number yet. I will be meeting the Tulsa guys there and we will be heading out that morning.
