I had a really great time. Chef, you do make an AWESOME burger. And Jim, thanks so much for the gift shop! My loot is still hiding in the trunk.

It was also great meeting Sylvia, you're even cuter in person, although I imagined your accent would be thicker.

Mary and Sharon, you kept the raffle alive with your great personalities.

Oh, and thanks to Beth for convincing me I had to go. You're a great friend.

And Jeff and Kevin, you guys are just as cute as ever. You too, Serkan, even with a wife (who is equally cute).

Default Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

OK, Here it is - Vicky made it:

Prep time: 10 mins
Start to Finish: 25 mins
Makes: 4 servings

1 pkg Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad Ranch and Bacon Pasta Salad Mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise (I used Helmanns Canola Oil Mayonnaise)
1 1/2 cup cut-up cooked turkey or chicken (I used chicken)
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, cut into fourths - optional
1/2 cup julienne strips Cheddar cheese (I used Kraft 3 Cheese Crumbles)
4 cups bite size pieces of lettuce (optional)

1. Fill large saucepan 2/3 full of water. Heat to boiling. Stir in contents of Pasta-Vegetable pouch. Gently boil uncovered 15 mins, stirring occasionally, until tender.
2. Drain pasta. Rince with cold water. Shake to drain well.
3. Stir Seasoning mix and mayonnaise in large bowl. Stir in pasta and remaining ingredients except lettuce. Serve on lettuce (optional). Refrigerate leftovers (if desired, moisten with a few teaspoons of milk before serving.)

I won't include the nutritional info, but will say it's high in sodium.

We also want to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this a great picnic!! Great food, great people and, of course, beautifful corvettes, who could ask for more. This was our first but, we are already looking forward to next year.

Les & Vicky
