I got mine painted... .and I did not screw it up this time... haha

Thanks Toque
In my picture the lines do not look straight, that is because I have tape on the edges of the plate. It turns out I did not have to trim very much off the plate since I have 7 digits it actually made it easier to center and align. That is just a mock up plate when I get it like I want it I'll cut the new plate and cover the bolt holes with material from the mock up plate. I haven't received my paint yet so it will be a few days before I paint it.
Yours is looking great.

Looks like the majority of people can or will consider going to hard 8 in Stephenville on Saturday Sept 28th vs Sept 21st. So far the list is:
Austin (Either Date)
Rikki (Either)
Evan (Either)
Van (Either)
Kevin (28th)
Lee (28th - Temperature dependent)
Big Mike (?)

Lee I know that English color did spray cans, but I had already ordered the paint on-line it should be here today or tomorrow. Need the extra time anyway to tinker with the tape process, if I had the paint I would be in a hurry and screw it up for sure.

Front plate ticket was dismissed. All i did was stick some double sided tape on my front cover, snapped a pictured and mailed it in. After a 10$ processing fee the woman i spoke to on the phone told me it would be dismissed.
She also stated i got lucky because any no plate tickets after Sept. 1st, they are no longer allowing the send in the picture case dismissed offer.

Bad that the $10 fix a ticket is no longer available though.
You need to send some of your good luck to Ed.....

Thanks Toque.
Hopefully Ed's situation is worked out soon.
On another note i've been reading a lot on brake setups. I'm really leaning towards some like yours. Although, it probably wont be till late this year or early next. Might as well do the speed bleeders, pads, stainless lines, and rotors all together. Where did you order all your stuff from?

Thanks guys, maybe it worked. My attorney called me late yesterday to set up a recorded conference call with the other insurance company (State Farm) for tomorrow so I can give them my version of what happened. I was told this could be a good sign.
I'm crossing my fingers; I'd sure like to get my car fixed so I can drive it at night again.
Another good thing is that my doctor started me back on strength training this past Monday. The initial damage to the muscles and ligaments in my back and neck have healed up enough that I can start to rebuild them. It feels good to be working out again, even at a diminished level.

Hey guys... you're cracking me up!!! Thanks for the offer to watch out for my new baby on the rail!! I'm trying to get the current tracking info now. I do know it left BG yesterday morning at 4:36 a.m. and already made it through Nashville, TN. I know additional locations were Mississippi, Louisiana ending in Texas. Just got email info from Classic Chevrolet, who is going to host an event around my vehicle. Would really like you all to join
