I'm still here just pretty busy with getting the car back together. winter teardown for cleaning, polishing the metalwork and adding some new mods. I had the emergency brake shoe retainer spring pop out when removing a rear brake rotor. That was one of the most frustrating reinstallation jobs I have ever done. The members here on the forum were a great help in showing exactly how the clock type spring locks in to the backing plate and e-brake shoes. If anyone has this issue just let me know I and I can help you out.

The Lone Star Corvette Classic is May 15-17, those of you that are going, when you register online, will you please add non club club of Oklahoma as club affiliate? The NCCO is trying to go for three in a row as club challenge winners.

Well, I should get the car back Thursday. It has been a long wait, but if it looks half as good as I think it will; it will be worth it in spades. If I do get it back Thursday as planned. I'm debating on taking it in for the new radio install. The paint will still be within the 72 hour period, so I'm not sure if I'll want to risk it.
Nevertheless, I'm excited!

Got the car back! Looks pretty amazing overall. My joy was halted a bit by some small issues with the job quality, but they are going to fix them. One thing they did that blew my mind was they painted over the chrome crossed flags exhaust plate. Strange... Not sure why they didn't mask that off.
Today I took it in to Auto Image to get the radio installed. Fantastic customer service from Rob. Very happy! Would definitely recommend them.

Hey guys... long time, no see. Haven't posted here much since I sold the C5 and C6. Hope that everyone in the NCCO is doing well.
I was going through the house, making space for my fiance when I found some Corvette stuff I'd like to sell... either on here or C-L. Figured I'd offer it up here first in case anyone was interested. Sorry in advance for the blurry pics.
Used K&N filter and bridge. Could use a new hose where it ties into the MAF. $125 OBO
HID replacement low beam 6000k bulbs and a HID 6000k fog light kit. Bought them to put into my car, but then decided to trade it in. $125 OBO.
GM headliner for glass top in black/charcoal. Looks to be missing three of the suction cups that hold it in place. $75 OBO.
Factory hood and rear drivers side quarter panel in LeMans Blue. I removed these from my car when I did the widebooty conversion. I'm sure that the paint is not anywhere near perfect... but if you wanted them as a replacement for yours that needed paint anyway, or as garage art (hood for a table?) then they are great. $100/ea or best offer.
Thanks.
Mark
