Anyway, found this in the Classified section of the Houtson paper---I am not familar with all the parts of Houston so have no idea what kind of area it is, (maybe someone else on CF can give you and idea)...it is under the Rooms for rent section of the paper...says:

Where will you be working? I ask because Houston is huge (spread out) and you will have a mega-long-drive in traffic if you get a place that is across town from where you have to work.

I agree with a previous post regarding finding out where you will be working---Houston is HUGE with tons of traffic problems. You'll want to keep down the miles on a daily commute to save yourselves some bigtime aggravation!

I'm hoping that I will not have to drive across the city.... i havent heard many nice things about houston traffic.... chicago traffic isnt that fun either... but thank you all for the info on places for rent.... the more options the better ya know? but i'm hoping to stay with a family rather than an apartment.... it will be a lot easier on our wallets i think. i'm still hoping to live with a vette owner... come on peeps!!! i know yer out there!!! i know you wanna help us out!!! :seeya :flag
