Default Oct 2 - Tucson

Anything happening in or immediately around Tucson, AZ on Oct 2? I'll be in town for a wedding on the 3rd, and will have most of the day on Saturday to bum around. Any local car shows during the day or Friday night (actually hope to arrive on Oct 1, but that depends on the TX state police.
Hate hanging out in a hotel room all day watching Fox News, until the rehearsal dinner.

We're having our "Jack78 Poker Run" for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation that day up in Phx (1 1/2 drive from Tucson). Should be a great time!

Also, it starts and ends at the McDonald's Pavillion Car Show. This show is one of, if not the largest continuing weekly car show in the country. There should be 75 to 100 collector cars, streetrods, hotrods and muscle cars there by the time the Poker Run is over.

I'll think about it; good cause, sounds like fun. I have to be back for a Rehearsal Dinner at 6:30 at the Saddlebrooke Club in Tucson. Another factor is I will have just driven three days from Nashville. I'll have to see what time I actually get in town on Friday, and how I feel Sat. AM.
Thanks

Hope you can make it up. The poker run is going from 9:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m.

If you leave at 4:30 you can make it to Tucson from there by 6:30 p.m. easily. I drive it in 1 1/4 hour at the speed limit (or close to it).
