Jacking Board
Here is a simple device that makes jacking up the rear of your C5 a breeze.
Buy a 1" X 6" x 24" Red Oak board from Lowes or Home Depot. Attach a piece of 1/4" plywood or pegboard cut to fit the saddle of your low profile jack to the center of the board. Then attach a couple of wire clamps to the edge of the board to center it under the cross member.
The board stays put on the jack and positions its self properly under the cross member without having to climb under the car to line things up.
