If a C6 accessory dispute (let's say a guy feels he is getting swindled outta 2 large for some wheels he never got, and no refund either, from a 'supporting' vendor) is aired on CF, and the dispute SEEMS to end up with the supporting vendor not returning the goods or the money, how would the people who run CF come down on that?

Thanks!

Apparently in favor of the vendors... A post was just aired a few moments ago regarding such a "hypothetical" (not speaking well of the vendor) and the post was removed...

In defense of that removal, I was probably out of line...............
However I am TOTALLY frustrated over this matter..............I just do not know WHAT to do or say.............

I think the answer to that is obvious. So much so that a thread like this does not matter because it is their actions and not their words that speak the most.

Well, let's all stay chilly (including me), be sure we follow forum rules, but dang it -- if you are really still not fully resolved, that is really dissappointing.

Let's take the broad view though -- maybe the mail and cc company, and something else all happpened on top of the orginal 'dreams snafu. It is possible. There is a concept called joint probability, and even extremely improbable events WILL happen, given enough time....

Good luck!

I've been on all night...not sure how I missed your post? I don't blame you one bit for being totally frustrated...I was also really ticked off over an amount next to nothing....but I was more upset over the situation, not the money. In your case I would want to go ballistic!

I have noticed someone has not been posting much lately..."if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen"! BUT...clean up your mess before you go!!

Hang in there, I hoping the system will work in your favor soon!

Believe me the forum administrators are aware of issues when they arise here on the forum... I believe there is communication going on to the issue that still seems to be unresolved. I believe the CF looks at both sides of the situation and will make a determination at that point (all cases and situations). Each case is unique and has its own set of circumstances... The CF isnt on either side until a valid reason is given to be at that point. If you have questions about how things are done you should PM or Email... using a open thread to discuss hypotheticals usually goes south .... We all know there is an issue going on right now.. and Im sure the CF admin are handling it, please have faith, Im hoping it will have a good outcome for all of us..

Supporting Dealers, vendors, tuners and members have no privileges over anybody else with the exception of supporting members having their own section to discuss things and all supporters are allowed animated gifs.

There are however rules pertaining to what you can and can not post in regards to other members.

A personal attack to a Supporting whatever is the same as an attack to a normal member. It isn't tolerated.

If a Vendor comes on here and starts flaming a member, you can bet that vendor will receive the same treatment as any other member.

Oh and a post such as this belongs in Off Topic or in the "HELP" section.

We are aware of the issue behind this thread. The Forum is working behind the scenes to bring a satisfactory resolution to the issue. At this point, I think all parties to the offline discussion are frustrated -- including the Forum.

When there is a final outcome on the issue, it will be posted as promised:

Also see my post in this thread:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...1&forum_id=109

3. Both #1 and #2.

I didn't hear anything back.

Since then, I've heard on several occasions from Forum moderators that they were locking threads which had gotten out of hand. After being on the road for a week, I'm back home and see that this unresolved dispute remains unresolved and has been a topic of "discussion" in quite a few threads:

Thinking....

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1176291
Complete Dreams?

My expererience is that nothing good comes from a prolonged pissin' match in a series of open threads.

VNAMVET needs to get his refund, but he needs to stop the online campaign against Complete Dreams. If he doesn't, his posting privileges will be removed.

Accidentprone (Complete Dreams) needs to pull out all the stops to bring this transaction to an appropriate end. If he doesn't, his posting privileges will be removed.

Beginning Monday, I expect each of the parties in this unresolved dispute to give me a daily report on the status of the matter via PM or e-mail.

Beginning right now, I don't want to see any more threads started on the issue.

I'll start the next thread to report on the results of the issue.

At this point, it's been 13 days since I intervened. I'm still regularly exchanging e-mails or PMs with the parties involved in order to bring the matter to a satisfactory resolution.

It doesn't advance that cause for me or other moderators to have to react and/or respond to a series of threads bashing the vendor involved and/or the Forum and its moderators.

accident prone (complete dreams) has already been "in moderation" to prevent any further posting until the issue is resolved. Now, I'm putting Craig "in moderation" to save him from posting further outbursts to vent his understandable frustrations while I'm working the issue offline.

The Forum has a history of removing vendors who show a pattern of inappropriate service to their customers. At this point, I don't know what will happen in that regard on this issue. My focus remains to help Craig get the refund that he is owed and was promised.

Those of you who have decided to take the matter into your own hands by posting a succession of threads on the issue in violation of Forum rules should understand that your "good intentions" are getting in the way of the Forum's efforts and could jeopardize Craig's interests. You also should know your posting privileges are in jeopardy if you continue to interfere.
