The customer for the majority of the time is considered in the right...but now always......
TByrne should have just posted a thread as such:
"We apologize for any shortcomings or logistical issues that have affected our valued customers. We in turn will take your constructive criticism and apply it to your business measures to improve our service. Thank you again for your support."
PLAIN AND SIMPLE....
I can not believe that a forum vendor would get into a pi$$ing match with forum vendors !! Incredibly unprofessional....
My $.02
That was pretty good! I should hire you to do PR for the limited times that we have an unhappy customer
I don't think we got into a p*$$ing match with any vendors here through. Just don't want to see incorrect info posted. You guys are just reading what is being typed. You really had to have heard the phone conversation to know what was going on. Two minutes of that would have told the whole story.
I do take constructive criticism well. Deb's "issue" has prompted a change here. We'll soon be recording phone calls and will reference those "tapes" if needed. That way there is no question of what happened and it should benefit everyone.
Thanks for the feedback!

This dispute involving TByrne, UPS and DebRedC504 keeps coming back for online debate between the parties, punctuated by commentary from third parties who have no direct knowledge of the dispute.
That’s in conflict with Forum rules on unresolved disputes:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1118161
First, there appears to be a continuing dialog between the parties. As long as that is the case, the dispute needs to remain offline while the parties directly affected determine whether the dispute will be resolved or whether it will become an unresolved dispute.
Once it is clear that all reasonable efforts have been exhausted to resolve the dispute offline, then Forum rules permit the posting of a factual account. The account must not include bashing, insults or name-calling.
Such threads are left open to give all parties with first-hand knowledge of the dispute an opportunity to post their version of the facts. Once the facts have been posted by each side involved in the dispute, the threads are closed and go into the archives where they will be available to anyone researching a product or a vendor.
The threads sometimes are closed before all parties have responded if they become bash-fests and/or are taken over by commentary posted by Forum members who are not directly involved in the dispute.
I believe this is the second or third thread that has addressed this particular dispute and yet it appears from what I’ve read that efforts are still underway to resolve the dispute.
My recommendation would be to continue those discussions offline. When a resolution is reached or when it is determined there will be no resolution, please notify me or another moderator and we will add that information to one of the already existing threads.
That’s the same recommendation made on Feb. 27 when the issue last surfaced.
