Default PSA: Avoid Corvette Mods (painted wheel spats) like the plague

3000 miles- and it started looking bad at about 1000. I sent them an email asking them to simply make it right (return, exchange, refund, whatever).

I got this response:

"I am sorry to inform you, but we wont be able to help you out. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Kim "

If you'll note, the splitter (which I'm sure sees many times more debris) is 100% A-okay.

That is quite nasty looking. Thank you for the heads up and PSA - Sorry you had to deal with this!

That stinks. Most of the aero parts out there are made in china and re-sold by vendors so not too surprising. Quality can vary wildly.

Reason I would never have those parts painted is adhesion to that type of plastic is questionable at best even with proper prep and I doubt it’s long term durability.

I paid about $80 to have the spats and poverty splitter covered with Xpel. No chips so far, but we'll see how they hold up

Never buy from Corvette Mods. Worst company ever!
And they are dishonest.

Are the a forum vendor again? I hope not!

No, Corvette Mods is NOT a forum vendor again. Per forum rules, vendor feedback belongs in the Transactions Feedback section. Since they are not a vendor here, they cannot respond to this thread, so it is closed.
